Harp Music in Nature
“Entrance into the inner world”
About the Harp music merges with nature sounds
Karen plays two small angelic lap harps through inspiration creating music of the moment. Each harp is tuned differently. One holds higher frequencies to assist us to spread our wings and fly, opening to possibilities. The other’s lower frequencies connect us with Earth to remain grounded in appreciation for the adventure we live through physicality.
The spontaneous harp melodies have been paired and merges with recorded sounds in nature.
The music may be considered as an attunement tool inviting the body to come into resonance with the frequencies. When the music is felt by the body, the cells may begin to move. This movement acts like an inner-cellular massage allowing the possibility for stagnant energy to flow.
The vibrations felt from the small redwood harps may assist in relieving stress, depression, or balancing and stimulating the systems of the body. Often a feeling of density is replaced by peace, lightness and ease.
“Modern science is now in agreement with what the ancient mystics have told us—that everything is in a state of vibration...It’s my belief that we can all learn to use sound, our own self-created sounds as well as sounds that we listen to and hear, to reduce heartbeat, respiration and brain waves, to help us relax, and to lead a more balanced, harmonious life.” ~ Jonathan Goldman, director of the Sound Healers Association. The Sound Healers Association was founded in 1982 as an organization dedicated to the research and awareness of the uses of sound and music as therapeutic and transformational modalities.
