“Abstract art holds an essence of non-cognitive awareness, undefined visual poetry, and mysteries to be explored.”

— Karen Folgarelli

The infinite details of inner and outer landscapes inspire me. My perspective flows between the microcosm and the macrocosm, and the physical and the metaphysical. I study the paradox of life and the fluid movement of the moment.

The guiding feature of my self-exploration emerges through creative expression and childlike wonderment. I am inspired by metaphysics, science, music, and poetry. These expressions portray temporal concepts and discoveries. They illuminate where we are in the moment, and guide and enhance the personal and communal journey we are on.

About Me

As a fine art abstract artist, nature photographer, and poet, I have a passion to creatively integrate my love of nature and the discoveries of my deep interior sojourning. I have been described as “an intuitive with an uncanny ability to capture and express serendipitous insight through artistic mediums.” By synthesizing my fine art and photographic forms, I intend to create artistic expressions that encourage discovery, communicate beyond expectations, and inspire a sense of magic, peace, and expansion. With a degree in graphic design and illustration and 40 years of creative experience across corporate, commercial, and community venues, I relish my adventures as an independent contemporary abstract painter, content creator, and collaborator.

“I have the privilege and blessing of care-taking a few pieces of Karen's "Living Works Of Art!" Each one elegant, graceful and unique in their own right, emitting the Pure Emotions of Praise, Love, Gratitude, Trust and Hope! Tones fluidly flow as her Graceful and slender fingers embrace her Harp, it's as though the Heavens Rain down feelings of Peace and Calm as they span the "Fabric of Existence!" Realities become multi-dimensional, imparting many Mystical experiences! Everything she touch turns to Gold........Thank You Beloved Karen💓” ~ Wendy, Canada
